omg

for anyone i've ruined the ending to "Midnight Cowboy" for, i'm sorry! i didn't even think about that, and now i kinda feel bad about it... but i think it's definitely worth seeing anyway, despite my thoughtless spoiler. meanwhile, bryce's story totally had me in stitches this morning, and i'm about to read brewster's which i know he said is very sad, so it looks like it's going to be a very emotional day. i always get excited to see what the stories are going to be about. it's hard not to peek... but i don't want to SPOIL it for myself, har har... ok, i really am sorry about ruining the end.

Don't change that cowboy crap*. I've never seen the movie, but it's one of my favorite parts of your story!

*crap is not being used negatively here.

ha! i love the clarification star. how did you even do that?

I agree. No changing of the cowboy crap. The movie is old enough that it's outlived its right to not be spoiled by being used as a device in a short story.

I was just giving you a hard time about your comments for me. At the end you said I hope I don't sound like a jerk, so I figured I'd call you one although we all know that couldn't be further from the truth. Great story once again.

i know you were kidding brian, it cracked me up. thanks a lot. but i really hadn't thought about the fact that i spoiled the ending in the story until i read your comments, and i did kinda go "OH MAN!" because i love that movie and want everyone to see it. also, i'm glad that i did not in fact sound like a jerk! : )
